Wanaka 2008 - Welcome
Skiing in July. Although we're living in the southern hemisphere for a while now, the idea of winter in July is still strange and we can't get used to it.
We couldn't have had more luck with the weather. In the weekend we drove to Wanaka fifty centimeter of fresh snow fell on the slopes and that's just what it needed. There were still some clouds on the top of the mountain on Monday morning, but after that we had nothing but blue skies and fantastic weather!
